I've lost my phone charger.

Since my phone is now out of juice, that pretty much means I am unreachable by phone - at least until the next time I get a ride in somebody's car and can recharge it with the car adapter.

The annoying part is that I know where I last saw it. I pulled it out of the wall so I could plug in the bread maker, and I just tossed into the chair next to the plug. I have since searched for several feet around the chair and in all the places where it might get put "away" and it's nowhere to be found.

I blame gremlins.

is there an "in" the chair? i lost my phone twice - once in a chair, and once in the sofa. both required awesome amounts of contortionism to retrieve without ripping out the bottoms.

Nope. It's one of those hard plastic patio chairs, so there is no place for anything to get lost inside.

You can get a little gizmo that plugs into a 120V outlet that has a 12V car adaptor power point that you can plug the car charger into for about $10.

Phone chargers are the bane of James' life. He's always stealing mine since he's always losing his. I bought a car charger so no matter what - i'll have a charger.

Unfortunately it's a proprietary connection, so no other charger in the house will work with it. (And I've found something like ten.)

guess that whole - no car thing - throws a dent into it.

We did get another charger at Best Buy (dunno if you have those in Canada) for about 20 bucks. So if it's really gone, that's another option.

It's definitely still in the house - the problem is that because of the construction in the basement, we've been living on the ground floor for the last couple of weeks and it's in Chaos.

If all went reasonably close to the alleged plan, the concrete should have gone in today so this weekend we'll be able to restore our home to some semblance of order, and I expect the charger will show up in some obvious place then.
