Makes sense. Your tear ducts have some sort of flow out to your nose (hence all the snot when you cry). So that would then run down the back of your throat.
i think i remember hearing about that at one point. never got ahold of any, though.
prolly just as well.
on the topic of 'wait, i just tasted what?', when i first started cracking my back (doctor's orders!), every time i did for the first couple of years, i tasted garlic for a few minutes, regardless of what i had eaten that day.
Is that because your prescription is too high? They told me they wouldn't do Lasik on me for that reason which is why they recommended PRK.
Talk to Hertzig - they do the full range of eye care, from standard Lasik to cataract and glaucoma treatment. They may still say you're a bad candidate, but the consultation is free.
High-ass prescription + dry eyes. The dry eyes were the biggie, cause the procedure can result in drier eyes. It's why I can't wear contacts regularly either. Giant bummer.
I could ask my Opt again. It's been a few years. Right now we need to look at the pressure that's building in my football shaped lazy R eye first. Yeah, yeeha, eyes.
So exciting that you can see the damn clock though, eh? I can imagine that's pretty damn cool.

Hope it's healing up quick. I envy your candidacy for such an operation. They just laughed at me.
