Or, my favourite variation of the second phrase, YAFOFG - "Yet Another Fucking Opportunity For Growth."

They are all referring to negative experiences. All expressing a similar sentiment, that we are supposed to learn from the nasty-ass shit that happens to us in life.

Seems to be pretty much a universal experience.

So it is to my complete and utter astonishment that I finally figured out that one can also learn a hell of a lot from something really good happening to one's life.

Well.
