Why do gallbladder attacks always happen in the middle of the damn night?

I went through a great deal of stuff around my gall bladder the last couple years. If have concerns or questions or want to know about my experience ask me.

Because bad things happen at night for added inconvenience.

Well, generally speaking, it could be caused because of the digestive process. If you consider how long it takes to digest the food you last comnsumed, it is generally during the night. Also, laying down can cause an inflamed gallbladder to press on the kidney, thus causing more pain.

I know this was the case for me until I had it taken out.
