So far I'm torn between...

1. Full leathers with white t-shirt with cig pack rolled up in the bicep & a set of fake sideburns

2. Gorillia suit & a pink tu-tu

Damn. Decisions, decisions.

If you're getting married in spring/summer, wouldn't a Gorillia suit be somewhat impractical?

Either are kind of bad for summer, but since everything is air conditioned in Vegas, it's not such a big deal.

I think Sio'd be hotter in the leathers/t-shirt, but the gorilla suit is mighty compelling. The problem is gorilla suit *rental*. Do you want to wear the same gorilla suit some other person's been doing glod-knows-what in? Unsure.

And by "hotter", I mean "more fuckable". Temperature wise I think the gorilla suit would be hotter.

There will probably have been yiffing.

Whew. Those both sound really warm.

Maybe combine 'em, do the t-shirt with the tutu?

You need the tutu. What about tutu over full leathers with a banana instead of cigs?

So, I guess a Tank Girl get-up would be right out?

How about a leather tutu? And fake sideburns, of course.

This is my vote!

Outfit #1 worn under outfit #2 so that when you get to the part of the ceremony where the person wearing the veil would lift it off for a kiss you can strip off the gorilla deal for the ass-kicker one.

[But you'd definitely want to put on a get-up like that well inside the Antarctically air-conditioned parts of Vegas, of which I have to assume the Elvis chapel is one. Handily this leaves room for one more Fabulous Outfit to get Sio from the hotel *to* the chapel].

I highly approve of the multiple demented costume-change approach to the wedding [this past Saturday I was chatting with Axel about acquiring full firefighter gear to protect me from the firey heat of Vegas... that or a homemade dress o' tinfoil (hat absolutely *required*) to deflect it away... and with the Wacky Costume Change Approach well and truly stamped doing both would then be a *necessity*].

i still remember seeing my full-bearded dad in a tu-tu - and I was 6 at the time. He didn't need the gorilla suit. :D

I'm for full leathers but hey... if you guys need some jewelry to top off the details - I know just the person!

I vote leathers, but would love to see a slightly more polished version with a button down and a skinny tie. Even(especially?) if the shirt and tie end up open a bit.

Of course there is also the combo look with a fierce leather jacket over white tee, nifty pink/purple petticoat as skirt (one of the soft, fluffy chiffon kind that gala favors) over ripped up tights and really kickass boots.

First or second choice? First outfit, leather tux with dress shirt and tie would be aces.

Second outfit you'd look like I dressed you, and while that isn't a a bad thing per se, it's just not YOU.

Also, I recall [livejournal.com profile] the_axel telling me that he made you buy a back sequined mini skirt. That would look AMAZING with a leather jacket, dress shirt and tie, and you would still get to do the ripped up hose and boots thing that makes people drool.

I vote for one, not only in terms of aesthetics, but also comfort. (I was the mascot at my high school, and have vivid memories of what too long in that tiger suit felt like... and it didn't have the enclosed head...)

I vote for #2, because with #1, there's still an outside chance (however small) that someone might think you're taking it seriously... with #2, there's no fear of that.

What do you mean by "Full Leathers". As a motorcyclist, "Full Leathers" means that your t-shirt probably won't show, and the cig pack definately won't.

On the other hand, you could go full full full full leathers and wear a gimp suit.

I'd guess that the leather jacket would be slung nonchalently over her shoulder.

Afte all, it's hot out there.

I do like the idea of leather jacket, especially the leather tuxedo that various people have suggested.

Leathers for the wedding, gorilla suit for reception. Just because it's hard to handle a ring in a gorilla suit.
