I am more than a little disappointed Einstürzende Neubauten are not playing the Kool Haus.

It's actually a two-day show, one date at the Phoenix and the other date at Lee's Palace. It's their 30th Anniversary tour, and the two shows are NOT the same. I highly recommend that if you are not hunkered down under a 100% spending freeze like I am, you go to both!

It's not money that's the issue, it's spoon rationing. Two nights in a row of being surrounded by humans is more than I can deal with right now, so I elected to go to the Saturday night show.

Ahh, yes, I can understand that.

For me, it's money. It's easy for me to be "all or nothing" about a goal, and my current goal is to spend nothing until I can buy my new computer (now that my laptop is showing signs of coming toward its end and I don't have enough money socked away to deal with that if it happens). I am sorely tempted to make a, "But it's a once in a lifetime thing," exception for the Neubauten shows, but I know that exceptions become the whole in the dam that widens for me, so I'm (at least currently) holding back. I'm thankful that I've seen them a couple of times before, at least.
