So sleep appears to be back to normal, she says, crossing fingers, toes, eyes and anything else she can reach in the hope that this is a permanent change. 'Cause holy crapcakes, does not being able to sleep ever suck badger nuts.

Having said that, I am no less tired. I got 8 hours last night and 9 hours the night before, but I am still sleeping right through the alarm clock in the mornings and dragging my ass around all day. I can't figure it out. I started taking vitamins again to see if that helps, but I'm usually pretty good at craving things that I'm getting low on. Axel suggested that my brain is busy healing, which does kind of make sense. I tend to sleep as much as your average housecat when I'm recovering from something major.

I want to go back to the gym next week but a lot of that will depend on if I can actually get over feeling so dragged out.

The only other thing I'm noticing is that my sweat has started feeling really oily and I seem to sweat a lot more, especially my palms. Weird and kinda gross. You'd think that would do something for my skin, but it's just as crappy and dry as ever. Ptui.

Mentally I feel great except for the effects of being so tired all the time. I went to the punk gig and in spite of being in a crowded loud room for several hours I didn't even worry about having a panic attack. I had a blast.

I did notice that the Brain Weasels still show up every once in a while. Only instead of talking about what a shit I am, now they are nattering on about all the shit things other people have done to me. I caught myself wondering why I was suddenly dwelling on all this stuff again and then I recognized the pattern. Huh. I'm on to them now though, so it won't work.

So still low energy physically, but overall I am just feeling really freaking good. It feels really awesome to be able to say that.

So you're getting the sweaty/oily thing too... interesting. Jon has that, as I've mentioned. And the tiredness. He didn't get up until about 10:40 this morning - normally he's been pretty good at hauling ass out of bed no later than 9:30 (on the days he doesn't have to go to York). But he'd stay in bed forever probably if he could. Plus he was finding that he was always feeling so drained and tired during the day, so last week his psychiatrist started him on a really low dose of Ritalin, which seems to be helping a lot with the not-falling-asleep-once-he's-up stuff.

i realize this is the fad of the decade, but have you had your vitamin d levels checked? those of us who do not leave the house during the daytime by preference tend to have low levels. helps me a lot.
