I completely get it that Canadians have problems with your current government. But your neighbors to the south long for your problems with our whole hearts.

Their behaviour towards indigenous people has been appalling, especially in light of the fact that the First Nations vote was a big part of what got them elected.

I get that, I really do, as I'm currently living in another country that is a great big dumpster fire at the moment. But as a Canadian I'm acutely aware that's no excuse and we should still be doing better.
