Did not die last night, but I bailed at the 2-hour mark. I have never sweated that much in my life. We climbed a ski hill! I didn't even know we have a ski hill in Toronto! What the hell, people?

Anyway! A couple of alibi sentences last night because all I wanted to do when I got home was a cold shower and bed.

On Day 7, I added 372 to Chapter 17.

Day 6: Post-beta edits to the end of chapter 17, adding about 300 new words, and sketched out a brief plan of what's going to happen in chapter 19.

It was the longest one I've attempted so far, so I promised myself I wouldn't feel bad if I couldn't finish as long as I made it to the 2-hour mark. And I did that, so I'm happy.

We've been skiing on that ski hill. My understanding is it may be on the way out bc of climate change, though.

I've been whinging in my journal most days and writing a poem a week.

Day 6: I finally took my scattered notes/extended quotes document and edited it down to a simple timeline with chapter citations. I'm going to check it over at least one more time before posting it, but I'm very satisfied with this form of procrastinating on doing anything about beta notes on my bb fic. xD
