After about three hours of frantic phone calls, two hours of frantic lip-chewing, and a frantic dash across town --

We are homeowners.

This is so cool.

We missed the storage room closing time by a mere half-hour, and most things are probably closed today what with it being Canada's big Birthday Party and Blowing Things Up Day -- but we have the keys, and as of 5:00 this morning we have a good start on the empty beer bottle collection.

And Jenn was there to hang out with us. :-)

Life is good.

This is Siobhan we're talking about. Hardware stores are already her favorite toy shoppes :-) At least if she's anything like me.
