I have been seeing posts all week on my friends' LJs about what they are wearing, buying new clothes, stressing about not being able to buy new clothes.

elecrolyte and

emulsional just called me from the road -- they are on their way back to Toronto from Buffalo, which is the location of the nearest Hot Topic. A road-trip specifically arranged in order to have new things to wear at Whitby.

I don't get it. Evidently other people notice these things. I notice tattoos and new limbs, and that's about it.

So this is my official announcement that I will be dressed in my usual fashion. The Aging Punk SlobTM.

I mean, damn. Who the hell wants to spend all that money on corsets when there is beer to be bought?
